About DiaGlocal Collective

The verification layer between founders and capital.

Founders have potential. Investors have capital. What sits between them is readiness: clarity, execution, evidence and verification. DGC exists to build that layer for founders of African descent, at home and in the diaspora.

Our story

Empowering Africans globally through connection, collaboration and impact.

DiaGlocal Collective began as a bridge between diaspora and home-based investors and founders of African descent. Working with both sides made one thing clear: the gap wasn't only capital. Too many promising founders reached investors before their startup was ready to be examined.

So we built the Investment Readiness Programme around the POEM Framework®, the evaluation model experienced angels use to judge whether a startup is investment-worthy, and turned it into a structured, verified path founders can actually follow. Our first cohort completed in September 2026. Three cohorts a year now run from our base in London with founders of African descent across Africa and the diaspora.

VISION

Become the standard for investment readiness across Africa and its diaspora.

MISSION

A structured, evidence-driven pre-investment validation layer.

So founders can produce auditable metrics and documentation, and be ready for accelerators, angel networks, syndicates and investment.

PROMISE

DGC prepares founders for investment before they reach you.

How we think

Four principles behind everything we do.

01

Evidence over storytelling

Only auditable metrics, structured documentation and validated data count. A good story is the start, not the proof.

02

Structured readiness

Founders move through a defined 12-week sprint that builds accountability, metrics and the documentary proof diligence requires.

03

Expectation alignment

DGC does not guarantee funding. Our job is to make sure founders meet readiness standards, not to promise capital.

04

Standardisation for quality

A consistent readiness signal that partners across the ecosystem can read the same way.

Our approach

The system behind the programme.

DGC runs a managed execution system that moves founders from learning to implementation to verified readiness. The flow is deliberate.

Learn→ Apply→ Execute→ Validate→ Get support→ Refine

Readiness is measured on three dimensions

  • POEM learning completion. Did the founder do the work?
  • Documentation and Data Room verification. Can it be checked?
  • Execution consistency. Did progress happen week after week?

These combine into the Investor Readiness Indicator: a standardised signal of preparedness for partners and investors.

Who we work with

  • Founders at ideation and pre-seed, home-based and diaspora.
  • Investors who want a clearer pipeline of prepared founders.
  • Ecosystem partners who need infrastructure to support, assess and connect founders.
